Dances at Northland College are organized by the NCSA Special Events Coordinator. Dances are meant to provide additional entertainment at Northland College. NCSA and the Special Events Coordinator work with Chequamegon Folk Collective six times a school year to provide the student body and the local community with First Friday Dances.
The First Friday Dances are like an old-fashioned barn dance with reels, square dances, circle mixers, contras, and waltzes. Everyone is welcome and no partners or experience is necessary. All the dances are taught before the music starts. Dances for children start at 7 p.m. and dances for adults start around 8 p.m.
If you have any questions about dances or suggestions for dance themes, please contact the Special Events Coordinator on the Contact page or at NCSA@northland.edu.
